Lesson Plans: Dictionary Game This flexible activity helps students learn and remember new words. After the teacher presents a new word (especially one to be learned in a new unit of study), students guess at the meaning by writing their own definitions. Lie and Lay This lesson defines the two words, provides example and practice sentences. To, Too, and Two The lesson defines the words, provides example and practice sentences. Sit or Set The lesson defines the words, provides example and practice sentences. Lose or Loose The lesson defines the words, provides example and practice sentences. Farther or Further The lesson defines the words, provides example and practice sentences Affect or Effect The lesson defines the words, provides example and practice sentences.
