Students learn to articulate their feelings about written works by describing what the work means to them by answering five questions.

1984
This supplemental unit provides resources for students in 11-12th grade to focus on issues and themes related to to George Orwell's novel,1984. During these lessons, students examine the novel's themes and make connection to current issues and their lives. Students will produce a variety of written products including essays, e-mail, and analysis of modern political discourse.
