Abbreviations Game

Abbreviations Worksheets:  This site gives eight worksheets on abbreviations.  Choose the worksheets that are appropriate for your class.

Suggestions for English Language Learners: 
(E/B=Entering/Beginning, D=Developing, E=Expanding)
 

(E/B) Students copy sentences from a poem or other pre-printed text.
(D) Students correct conventional mechanics in journal writing such as using proper abbreviations in a sentence.
