Language Expression: Combine sentences correctly (COS 25/ SAT10)

Lesson Plans:

Lettuce
Students will identify and write complete sentences.  They will work on effectively combining sentences.

Please Explain
Students interact with various examples of expository writing identifying any irrelevant and/or repeated information.

Sentence Combining
This lesson is designed for students who write short, choppy sentences.  Students will learn to combine short sentences that develop their ideas and involve the reader in the action of the story.

Appositive Action
In this lesson students will learn to combine two or more descriptive sentences and action sentences into one sentence with an appositive phrase.
