Students write friendly letters, mail them to random schools, and wait
to see who responds. This lesson combines language arts and
geography.
If You Are a Capital, You Are Important
The lesson is designed to review/practice rules of capitalization,
punctuation and paragraph development.
Simple Capitalization and Punctuation
By 4th grade, students have been exposed to basic language rules of
capitalization and punctuation. The ultimate goal is to guide
students to become proficient writers. The task at hand is to empower
students to successfully communicate using their own written and
expressive language skills.
