wall for correct spelling of frequently-used words. A word bank for
specific assignments can also be generated on the chalkboard.

Students keep a personal spelling journal with words entered
alphabetically. Students use them to confirm correct spelling for
writing assignments and to record spelling corrections from their class
work.
