Lesson Plans:
The Mail Race
Students write friendly letters, mail them to random schools, and wait
to see who responds. This lesson combines language arts and
geography.
Capitalize in the Letter
Students write a letter to a friend, and the friend adds the capital
letters.
Excellent Editors
After reviewing rules for capital letters and punctuation, students
will locate examples from their books they have read. They will then
use those sentences to create a worksheet for another group to edit
and exchange papers.
