ESL Ideas      (B=Beginning, I=Intermediate, T=Transitional)
(B, I, T) Students listen to a historical speech.  Intermediate and transitional students list the ways the speech affected them, then discuss ways language can make them feel.
(B, I, T) Students listen to, read, or role-play a drama in the classroom, noting and discussing the changes in language as the characters express varying emotions.
