Lesson Plans:

Teaching Short Vowel Discrimination Using Dr. Seuss Rhymes
Students will discover patterns in words, sort words based on their vowel patterns, and apply their knowledge in reading and writing activities.

Graphing Out Digraphs!
Students will learn the sounds and spelling patterns for common consonant digraphs.

Skyfires, Rainbows, and Color Words
Students listen to the story Skyfire by Frank Asch.  The students make their own skyfires and apply their knowledge of color words.
