Analogies Collage:
This project challenges students to make original
functional analogies between cell structures and everyday objects. The
analogies are illustrated by pictures cut from magazines and newspapers.
A student hand-out is included giving assignment details.
Jell-O Cells
Students will
describe the appearance and location within the cell of the various
cell organelles.
Cell Organelles
Students design a poster with a cell and its organelles on one part and
an analogy to the cell on another part.
