Grade 6, Science Std # 1.3: Predict local weather and weather patterns using a weather map.

Lesson Plans: Gathering Weather Information Students use weather data and information found on the Internet to predict weather patterns. Color Weather Map Students will create their own color temperature scale then apply the scale to color a temperature map of the United States. United States Climates Students will identify regional climates by using weather maps. Newspaper Weather Students will evaluate information from the newspaper and construct a weather map predicting the next day’s weather. Weather Maps Students will create and present national weather maps.
