Earthquakes and Volcanoes
Students compare maps of plate tectonics with population density maps to analyze the relationship between population and seismic hazards.

You Don't Need a Seismograph to Study Earthquakes
Students will investigate plate tectonics, simulate one of the three types of lithospheric boundaries, and simulate p waves & s waves.

Save the City
Students will participate in the WebQuest Epicenter, That Rockin' Town.

Shake, Rattle, and Roll
Students will be able to access current seismographic data on the internet to study earthquakes.

Earthshaking Events
Students can make their own version of a seismograph to see how it works.
