Exploring the Human Nervous System
This lesson introduces students to the human central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.  The brain, spinal cord, and various nerve cells are discussed.

Introduction to the Nervous System
Students will be able to recognize and describe the main components and functions of the human body's nervous system.

Better Body Books, Inc.
Interesting idea to have upper-level students produce books related to body systems.  The books are to be presented to elementary students upon completion.

Effects of Environment on Memory
To determine the effects of a variety of environmental factors on the ability to remember increasing lists of words.


Exploring the Left and Right Sides of the Brain
Students become familiar with the left and right hemispheres of the human brain and engage in activities that activate powers that are dominant in each hemisphere.
