Grade 7, Science Std #: 4.4 Describe organisms in the Fungi Kingdom.

Lesson Plans: Fungi This lesson can used as a part of a unit on kingdoms. Students learn about the characteristics of fungi. Fungi Kingdom Students will collect and identify fungus samples. SECRETS OF THE DEAD-Of Fungus and Witches Students learn about the historical impact of a particularly toxic fungus, before taking a more in-depth look at this fascinating kingdom. Spore Print Lab Students will identify the parts of a mushroom, observe the spores released from different types of mushrooms, and understand the way fungi reproduce.
