Std 6-2:    Compare different forms of asexual reproduction in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Cell Analogies Collage:
This project challenges students to make original functional analogies between cell structures and everyday objects. The analogies are illustrated by pictures cut from magazines and newspapers. A student hand-out is included giving assignment details.

Prokaryotic  Eukaryotic Cells -
 An Internet Based Lesson Plan: This lesson will allow students to utilize the Internet as a resource in researching Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells. Scroll down to "Cell Scavenger Hunt Handout"

Pond Water Survey
Students compare and contrast organisms created by asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction.

New York Botanical Gardens
Students will differentiate sexual and asexual reproductions.

Sustainable Forestry
Students will study asexual reproduction, be able to take a proper hardwood cutting, and learn what rooting hormones are and how they help generate roots.
