Affects Our Environment
Demonstrate phenomenologically the effects of acid rain on our
environment and perform long-term "real-time" experiments.
Air Pollution
To develop a greater awareness of the variety and amount of
particulate matter in the air. To determine relationships
between amount of pollution and
time of day or week. To locate general sources of pollution
for the area and to
develop some suggestions for improving air quality.
Air Quality
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
Identify how air quality is measured, identify various human
activities that negatively effect air quality, and identify and
discuss human activities that positively effect air quality.
