Std 6.2: Describe the process of underground water accumulation, including the formation of aquifers.

Lesson Plans:

Water Everywhere: Is there enough to drink?
Students analyze data for freshwater availability and consumption.  They will examine issues in shortage and pollution of freshwater sources.

What Goes on Down Under?
Students will explain the sources for recharge and discharge of groundwater, identify the connection between surface and groundwater, and describe the relationship between soil grain size and water flow rate.
