Get together with your partner to do the following activities.  Go to the evaluation page and print the rubric.  As you complete each step, make sure you have completed all the requirements.

Step 1:  Choose a Junie B. Jones book to complete the activities.

Step 2:  After reading the book, list many, varied, single words to describe Junie B. and yourself.  Print and complete the Venn Diagram with the words, showing likenesses and differences between her and you.  Draw a picture of Junie B. and yourself to place at the top of the Venn Diagram.

Step 3:  Read the opening letter from Junie B. Jones by clicking here http://www.randomhouse.com/kids/junieb/index.html.  Then, write a friendly letter to Junie B. telling how to solve a problem in the book in a respectful way.

Step 4:  Use the supplies in the writing center, to make a pop up or flip book to summarize the book that you read.

Step 5:  Click on the Junie B. Jones link below and learn about the author, Barbara Park.  Write down two facts and two opinions that you found out by reading the questions and answers listed.
