Travel through the ear
with Omi
Designed by Sarah Burkhardt
Modified by Debbie Crenshaw

Introduction
Did you ever wonder how the ear works? First we need to define sound. We know that sound is what we hear, but we
need to further define it as a disturbance in the air. We must also realize that sound travels in
waves. Close your eyes and imagine you
have just thrown a rock in a lake. Think
of the ripples that are traveling away from where the rock had been thrown. This is how sound travels.
Task
As you travel through the ear with Omi, you will
learn the three parts of the ear and how sound travels through all of the
parts.
Process
You will divide into three groups: (1) Outers
(2)
