Introduction

Did you ever wonder how the ear works?  First we need to define sound.  We know that sound is what we hear, but we need to further define it as a disturbance in the air.  We must also realize that sound travels in waves.  Close your eyes and imagine you have just thrown a rock in a lake.  Think of the ripples that are traveling away from where the rock had been thrown.  This is how sound travels. 

 

Task

 

As you travel through the ear with Omi, you will learn the three parts of the ear and how sound travels through all of the parts. 

Process

You will divide into three groups:  (1)  Outers

                                                       (2) Middlers

                                                       (3) Inners
